Author Social Media that Works for You with Claire Forrest

Eija and Claire will share their experience as authors and communications professionals to demystify social media and share tips, tricks, and things to consider. An event exclusively for Hamline MFAC Alumni during the July 2024 Hamline Alumni Weekend.

Claire Forrest is a 2020 Hamline MFAC grad and the author of Where You See Yourself. She has managed social media accounts and implemented social media content strategy for nonprofits, businesses, brands, and prominent people who are cooler than her.

Eija Sumner is a 2019 Hamline MFAC grad and the author of The Good Little Mermaid’s Guide to Bedtime and Crocodile Hungry. She works as a communications professional developing content, and communication and campaign plans in higher education.

Saturday Storytime with Eija Sumner and Lisa Frenkel Riddiough at The Rediscovered Bookshop

Swing by The Rediscovered Bookshop and enjoy a storytime with two picture book authors, Eija Sumner and Lisa Riddiough at Rediscovered Books.  Lots of fun and hijinks as we read The Good Little Mermaid’s Guide to Bedtime and Pie-Rats! Authors will be signing copies of their books in-store.  

Rediscovered Bookshop is in downtown Boise, Idaho. Their address is 180 N. 8th Street, near the corner of 8th and Idaho.

Garfield Public Library Author Visit and Storytime in the Park

Join the Garfield Branch of the Whitman County Library for a special Sunday Storytime with Moscow, Idaho author Eija Sumner, presenting her new picture book The Good Little Mermaid’s Guide to Bedtime. Eija will read from her newest picture book and answer questions about the book writing and publishing process.

This summer reading program event will take place at the Garfield Public Park located at 604 W Spokane St, Garfield, WA 99130.
